Ribbon cutting photo from Grand Opening event

I want to take a few minutes and quickly introduce myself and share some exciting news with you.  My family and I are new to TN.  We recently moved here from MD with a vision of finally taking my photography business full time.  I’ve been doing photography for over a decade.  I started as a Naval photographer, and then later worked in the naval intelligence community as a civilian covering events that at times included the highest ranking officials.  Along the way I also worked exclusively with a model agency out of Baltimore, as was as with the Baltimore Blast and Baltimore Mariner cheerleaders.  And I can’t even count how many weddings and diplomatic events I’ve covered.  In addition to all of this, I’ve completed two photography schools and have a professional certification from Professional Photographers of America.  So I’ve got what it takes to create and deliver amazing images that you’ll love forever.

Before coming here, we had a number of visions, most of which revolved around our biggest idea of all being our new studio building, which is made to look like a barn.  We’re horse people and we wanted a studio that represents us.  We have three full sized horses and one mini, all of which are safe and friendly and love the occasional treat, such as a banana or apple or carrot.  So if you love the look and feel of a barn atmosphere, then you’ll feel completely at home in our new studio building.

When we were working on all the planning for the building, we sat down and thought about all the things we wanted to do.  These are things we’ve never been able to do before, and things that few others are able to do now, so we’re crazy excited to now be able to do so many new things.

One is a large enough space to bring in horses and other animals.  We love all our animals and want to be able to create amazing images without always having to worry about locations or weather.

Next is indoor trampoline photos.  People have asked why our building is so tall.  It’s so that we have plenty of head room for indoor trampoline photos.  Just imagine how much fun that would be and what kinds of expressions you would get from something like this.  And again, not having to worry about weather or locations.

Probably the thing I’ve been most excited about is the ability to have portrait parties.  We have both a styling station and two changing rooms, and lots of space to photograph even small groups of people. This is for groups of young girls to more mature  women to come and enjoy each other’s company while getting all styled up, and getting photos made of each individual and the entire group, and all based on a fun theme.

These are just some of the fun things we had in store.  We still love doing location sessions every chance possible, plus we now have 12 acres of land with a pond to play with over the years as we grow.

I’m sure you can already tell that I’m probably a bit different than what you’re used to, but I still want to take a moment to tell you how I’m different from the most of the other photographers you’ve probably experienced.  Some of which might surprise you.

For one, I’m not a fast food style photographer.  Meaning I’m not one to just meet you somewhere that sounds good because you just want some nice photos done and then just have them all delivered on a disc whenever.  Has that ever really worked for anybody.  I know that works for some, but to me that’s like selling someone an unfinished house just so the buyer can get it for less.  It’s an unfinished job.  My goal is to make sure that every client has something beautiful that they can love and be proud of for years.  How much are you really going to love a disc of images 20 years from now?

Instead, what I do is meet with you ahead of time to learn more about you and what your needs are so we can then work together to design a session that specifically takes care of your needs.  That includes figuring out what your print needs are as well, so you can show up to the viewing and sells appointment already knowing what you’re going to order and how much it’s going to cost you.  Compare this to seeing all your images and then trying to figure out what you’re going to do with them, but then getting overwhelmed or just unable to make a decision, asking for images digitally, and then probably never getting anything printed that you can be proud of and only looking back at the entire experience as a waste of time.

With me you’ll view your images projected large and beautiful, and to scale so you can see what your image looks like at any size.  You just can’t do that from a computer monitor.  Can you imagine trying to pick out an image to be printed at 30 or 40 or even 80 inches in size only by looking at a small screen?  I can show what they look like at actual size first, and even what they’ll look like on your walls to size before you spend a dime.  How does that sound?

Another thing that makes me different is my credit based pricing system.  Everyone likes packages so that you can get that bundled price.  Who doesn’t like getting a good deal?  But who has ever wanted everything that was in the package you bought just to get the few things you actually wanted?  What I do is assign a credit value to all of my products.  The more credits you purchase, the more the cost of each credit goes down.  So you only pick the things you actually need and get a bundled price automatically depending on the amount of credits.  If you want to know more, just let me know.

So what’s the exciting news?  For one, it’s that my studio is finally about wrapped up with it’s many months of construction, and so is finally open to all the fun things I talked about and more; things like horse and vehicle pictures, portrait parties, indoor trampoline photos, fitness photos, senior and family photos, and more.  Tons of fun stuff.  But the bigger news is that I’m going to make all this available to you for free.

I know I’m new in town and I know I’m not the cheapest guy in town, but I’m different and I know that you will love your experience with me, so I want to give you your first session with me free as a gift so that you can have the opportunity to see what it’s like at Brandon Malone Photography.  This is a limited time offer though.  I’m only going to do this thru the end of the year, and after that normal session fees will apply.  So this is a great opportunity if you’ve been holding back on getting family photos done, or if you’re going into your senior year in high school and are looking for a fun experience and awesome photos.  Whatever your photos needs are, even if you hadn’t thought about it till now and just want to see what it’s like, contact me now so we can get started on creating something just for you.

So what happens if you decide to do take advantage of my offer?  Then what?  Well, obviously everything after the session is not free.  You will still have to purchase what you want.  But what I will do as part of my free gift to you is promise you at least one amazing non-printable image file from your session that you can post on social media, put on your phone, etc.  That way no matter what, you can still have at least a small something to take with you from your session experience.

I really hope to meet many of you out there, and hopefully you’ll take me to a lot of new places that I’ve yet to see. I’m sure you can imagine that with an offer like this, spaces can fill up quickly, so if this sounds like something you want to check out, then please reach out to me asap.  We don’t have to schedule your session for next week, but just getting you in the system so you can make sure you have your opportunity secured is what you want to do.

I look forward to meeting all of you hopefully soon.  Enjoy your summer.  Thanks and God bless.  bye!
